About Pastor Michael Collins
Michael Collins is the founding pastor of Harbor City Church, where he and his wife, Lisa, have faithfully served the Baltimore region for over two decades. With a passion for teaching and a heart for people, Michael has dedicated his life to leading others into a deeper relationship with Christ.
Michael began his ministry journey at Rhema Bible Training College, where he met Lisa. Together, they traveled across the U.S. and Europe, teaching in churches and assisting pastors in various capacities. Before planting Harbor City Church, Michael had the privilege of serving under Pastor John Osteen at Lakewood Church in Texas, where he further developed his passion for ministry.
In 2001, following a clear directive from God, Michael and Lisa founded what was then known as Word of Grace Family Church in North Glen Burnie, Maryland. Despite the challenges of church planting, they remained steadfast in their mission to create a welcoming, faith-filled community. Under Michael’s leadership, the church has evolved into Harbor City Church, a multi-campus church with a vision to reach the entire Baltimore region.
Michael is not only a dedicated pastor but also a visionary leader with a heart for equipping others to discover and fulfill their God-given purpose. He is committed to fostering an environment where people can know God, find freedom, discover their purpose, and make a difference in their communities. His journey of resilience and faith continues to inspire those around him as he leads Harbor City Church into its next season of growth and impact.
We are Guided by Pastors
The Pastoral Staff Team at Harbor City Church is led by our Senior Pastor, Michael Collins. This team is responsible for the day-to-day ministry and operations of the church. Together with our Campus Pastors, they serve our congregation and work diligently to develop the spiritual life of our church community.

We are Protected by Trustees
Our Trustees are members of the congregation who oversee the finances and provide guidance on major financial decisions. They work closely with the Senior Pastor and provide counsel regarding the resources and facilities needed for the church’s mission. The Trustees are non-staff elders who ensure the church’s resources are managed with integrity and transparency.

Harbor City Church is supported by a group of Overseers—respected pastors from outside our church who provide spiritual protection and accountability. These overseers are available to step in when needed to ensure that our church remains aligned with its mission and values. They serve as apostolic elders, offering wisdom and guidance to our leadership team.
